Hydrate Your Hair!

Keeping with the theme of summer winding down, and the sun, sand and surf taking a toll on the body. Here is a great recipe to add to your end of summer services! It's a hydrating hair treatment chock full of products to hydrate and alleviate dry itchy scalp symptoms.

Hydrating Hair Saver
In a mixing bowl, combine 2T of Moor Mud, 2 drops Cinnamon Leaf Pure Essential Oil, 2 drops Peppermint Pure Essential Oil and .5ML of Vitamin E Skin Oil. Mix until all the ingredients are incorporated. Place the bowl into another bowl of warm water, or a mud warmer.

Shampoo and towel dry the client's hair (you want the hair to be damp) as you normally would. Apply the moor mud mixture to each section of the hair making sure to massage the scalp. Once the entire head has been coated and massaged, wrap in a DRY warm towel (black is always a good choice when working with moor mud!) or you can cover them with a shower cap and heat cap and have them sit under the dryer. Leave the client wrapped for 10-15 minutes before shampooing. Rinse and condition as you normally would.
