CBD Spa Treatments Soaring

I was reading the iSpa SmartBrief earlier this week and came across a fascinating article: CBD use at spas reaching new heights.

The article reported:

"In the 2019 ISPA US Spa Industry Study due out later this month, the International Spa Association will report that 18% of spas featured CBD last year. One-third of spas at resort hotels include the products in treatments, while only 16% of day spas featured CBD products"

Additionally, "ISPA’s July Snapshot Survey found that 41% of respondents have added CBD for treatments, retail product sales or both." 

WOW, that is a LOT of businesses checking out CBD products! This trending service seems to be becoming more and more popular, and spas, estheticians, massage therapists, even waxers are seeing an increased interest in CBD services. 

Over the last few years, CBD has emerged in the spa/salon/beauty community as a beneficial holistic ingredient. CBD treatments are showing up at spas around the country and many brands are offering products that embrace CBD’s health and wellness benefits. Exfoliating with Enzymes

1. Hydroderm / Aqua-foliation

Parabens:
Parabens are a specific type of preservative that protect food and cosmetics against microbial contaminants, specifically yeast and mold. Recent studies show that parabens may cause cancer and cause allergic reactions/skin rashes.

While we make the claim that our formulations are “paraben and preservative free”, they are not left unprotected against microbial attack. The formulators at June Jacobs Spa Collection have researched several new multi-functional ingredients that exhibit broad spectrum anti-microbial ability.
