While speaking with a client a few days ago, the topic of Hydrocollators came up. For those who are not familiar, Hydrocollators are units made to heat up specially-designed moist heat packs used for sports therapy and spa treatments. They are like standard neck and back wraps on steroids.The steam heat packs do not automatically come with a cover, so many people end using laying towels as a barrier for the service. The problem with this method, however, is that it is not the most efficient use of heat, plus, towels can become expensive to launder.
