Why choose compressed sponges over non-compressed sponges or vice versa? It is all a matter of preference, but we have found MOST estheticians prefer compressed (they outsell 9 to 1).I like them for the same reason kids like compressed sponges... it is super cool when you put them in water and they expand! But estheticians typically prefer them for a more practical reason... storage space. Compressed sponges take up about 1/8 the storage space of non-compressed sponges. A 100 pack of compressed sponges easily fits in a trolley drawer.
