Contempo Multi-Function Facial Machine Available at PureSpaDirect.com!

Step up your business with an affordable new multifunction skin unit! The Contempo Multi-Function offers 10 popular facial units, in one compact and sleek unit. Gone are the days of cluttered trolleys filled with separate units - this unit is the ultimate in consolidation to make the most of your precious space.

The amazing Contempo Multi-Function Facial Machine is designed for beauty and aesthetics centers.

10 FUNCTIONS:

High Frequency:
This function is used to clean the skin, kill skin bacteria, regulate the glandular activity and prepare the skin before the galvanic treatment by improving like that the penetration of the product into the skin. The conductive element that runs inside the electrodes can be argon, with it's particular purple color, used to disinfect or the neon, which gives it's orange color, applied to give tone to the skin. No product is needed during the treatment.

Ultrasonic:
The application of ultrasounds favors the reduction of rides and scars, contributes to skin hydration and helps cosmetic actives to be well absorbed into the skin. The treatment with ultrasounds improves blood circulation and increases cell regeneration. This device allows choosing the type of wave: continuous for normal type skin and thicker tissue areas; combined wave for smoother skin areas and intermittent for sensitive skins. Always use a conductive lotion on the skin. Never apply on dry skin.

Ultrasonic Skin Scrubber:
The exfoliating spatula cleans at a very great depth and stimulates the cell regeneration. It emits very low frequency waves and vibrations that break the dirt adhered to the skin into tiny particles and soften without the steamer help. This makes very easy eliminating dead cells, blackheads, the dirt and multiple traces of the skin without damaging it and minimizing the discomfort. The result: hydrated and radiant skin with a younger aspect. An exfoliating product is required.

Rotary Brush:
The mechanical exfoliating process by means of brushes eliminates outer dead cells and the skin dirt, as well as the sweat excess or makeup traces. Through a pleasant massage it also stimulates blood circulation. The rotation speed is adjustable. An exfoliating product is needed to dampen the brush before starting the treatment.

Galvanic:
The primary uses are to introduce water-soluble materials into the skin and disincrustation. The galvanic unit takes the alternating current it receives from an electrical outlet and converts it into a direct current (the electrons flow continuously in one direction only) that has been modified to a safe level. The current creates chemical changes as it passes through the tissues of the body.

Vacuum:
The Vacuum is similar to a miniature household vacuum cleaner. It cleans pores by suctioning out deeply embedded dirt and oil, while simultaneously giving your client a deep, penetrating massage. The vacuum cleans the pores by suctioning out deeply embedded dirt and oil while simultaneously giving the client a deep, penetrating mechanical massage. This procedure will stimulate blood flow. Increased blood flow brings nutrients and oxygen to the skin and removes toxins. The vacuum cleanses by loosening debris and oils on the surface of the skin. The size and style of the cupping glass determines whether the primary function taking place is cleansing or massage.

Spray:
The spray is used to flush out the freshly vacuumed pores, thoroughly cleaning the surface of your client's skin. The spray component is used in combination with the vacuum component to flush out the freshly vacuumed pores after the vacuum treatment. The spray component creates a fine, even mist, and can be used during treatments to rinse, moisten, soothe the skin, or apply product.

Facial Steamer with Ozone:
In any cutaneous treatment, the ozone steamer is an essential tool that provides multiple benefits to the skin. For example, it softens the skin and the dead cells before the facial cleansing treatment, it helps open the pores so as to obtain a deeper exfoliation, it contributes to eliminate grease, blackheads, traces of make-up and dirt, it helps release natural toxins of the skin, it smooths wrinkles before the treatments, it increases the blood circulation, it hydrates the skin, it improves its metabolism and helps renew it. The ozone applied through the steamer has a germicide and anti-inflammatory effect.

LED Magnifying Lamp:
The mag lamp features a slip head design with a 3-Diopter Magnification and an 8-Insert Spot Lens. The magnifying lamp is designed with an LED system and is highly reliable, offering a very long lifespan (LED's typically last 50,000 hours) and energy high efficiency (compared to other cold-light lamps). This mag lamp is perfect for any kind of treatment (skin diagnostics, skin examination before and after treatments, semi-permanent make-up and eyelash tinting, etc.).

Essential Oil Therapy:
There is a cavity behind the steamer nozzle to add essential oils for use during facial treatments.

Don't Overlook the "Little" Things That Can Make a BIG Difference In Your Business!

Sometimes, in life, at work, or in business, we overlook the "little" things - but it is those little things that often lead to a good day, a bad day, a successful week, or a month of struggle. I wanted to share with you one of those "little" things that just might make the difference in your business.

One of the staples of any aesthetic room is a magnifying lamp. How much thought have you put into your magnifying lamp lately? Not much, I bet! Your trusty "little" magnifying lamp is always there when you need it - to light the way, to help you focus on the details....but what happens when you are in the middle of a facial, and your trusty "little" mag lamp doesn't light the way?

The point of the matter is that some equipment, including mag lamps, often are taken for granted.  Our clients stress over which multifunction to purchase, agonize over which product line to use - but put almost no thought into which mag lamp to purchase.
there are hundreds of uses for them, and almost all beauty industry businesses use them, I find that mag lamps are some of the least thought about equipment!

I know mag lamps are just one of those "little" things, but if you think about it, this "little" thing has the power to help you rock a service, or run into a problem. Why am I telling you all of this? Because I recently had the pleasure of using the Equipro Robusta Mag Lamp, and boy let me tell you - I will no longer overlook the "little" things!

The Robusta lamp features joints that are a little bit different than most of the mag lamps you have probably used in the past. These different joints allow for a much lower occurrence of wear and tear, and these lamps almost never malfunction. I know this mag lamp is slightly more expensive than some of the other mag lamps we offer, however, the extended confidence you can have in the Robusta lamp more than makes up for the higher price tag. Plus, the life expectancy of the Robusta lamp is longer than many others, making this lamp less expensive to own per year!

Don't get caught without the "little" things that make your services successful! Check out the Robusta lamp today!

Is it Time for a New Mag Lamp? On Sale NOW: LED MAG LAMP!

Estheticians worldwide depend on their mag lamps to provide a clear view of their client's skin. It is, next to the steamer, probably the most-used piece of equipment in a spa. Why not have a top-of-the-line mag lamp that will open your eyes to even more detail on each client's face?

Pure Spa Direct just found that top-of-the-line lamp! Check out our new Magnus 5-Diopter LED Magnifying Lamp. This 5-Diopter lamp features a lens cover, rolling stand, articulating arm for ease of positioning, and LED lights. Why go LED? Some reasons include:
  • Reduced Power Consumption - lower energy bills!
  • Efficiency - LED bulbs emit more light per watt the
incadescent bulbs, so you will see more!
  • Cool Light - no more burnt fingertips when trying to adjust your lamp!
  • Long Lifetime - LED bulbs are estimated to last 35,000 - 50,000 hours (in comparason to 1,000 - 2,000 hours for incadescent bulbs)...no more changing bulbs!
  • Shock Resistance - LEDs are difficult to damage from shock (knocking your lamp over or into a wall), so no more shattered light bulbs!

If those reasons weren't enough to convince you to go LED, maybe the price will! For the month of March, the Magnus LED Magnifying Lamp with Stand is on sale for 25% off! Scoop yours up today, and "see" what you have been missing!

Decoding Diopters: Understanding the Magnification Power of Your Mag Lamp

The process of looking for the perfect mag lamp can be a bit daunting and confusing due to the amount of options that are available:
  1. Square Head versus Round Head
  2. Rolling Stand versus Clamp Attachment
  3. Stand-alone Unit versus Multi-function Machine Attachment
  4. 3, 5 or 8 Diopter lens
While 3 of the 4 are based upon personal preference, understanding what the Diopter is essential to ensuring you purchase the best lamp for your needs. Below is the mathematical translation from diopter to magnification:
  • 3 Diopter = 1.75x Magnification Power
  • 5 Diopter = 2.25x Magnification Power
  • 8 Diopter = 3.00x Magnification Power
And here is the simpler way to understand Diopters:
  • 3 Diopter = Items look 1.75 times larger than normal
  • 5 Diopter = Items look 2.25 times larger than normal
  • 8 Diopter = Items look 3 times larger than normal

Typically, 5 Diopter Mag Lamps are the most popular, as they are a happy medium between the strong 8 Diopter and weaker 3 Diopter.

What type of Mag Lamp do you use? What do you like it about it?

Important Mag Lamp Tips for Estheticians - How to Use with Care

Loose Mag Lamps
Can DROP on Clients...
Always Use Care &
Tighten Well!
Used for observing, extracting and assessing clients' skin, the mag lamp is an essential tool in professional facials and aesthetics. I really enjoyed watching this  Facial Equipment DVD by Rita Page.  Not only informative, she really has some sound advice for Estheticians about cleanliness, lamp tightness and basic care.  Lighted magnification lamps can get quite filthy due to the spray from facial extractions - not only can this obscure your view of the client's skin, clients may notice the extraction debris on the lamp during a service... yuck!  I always think it is important to brush up on the basics every once in a while, sometimes the obvious things can become overlooked in our busy lives.  Rita is an award-winning CIDESCO Diplomat and her DVD's are available on Pure Spa Direct for licensed professionals.  Extremely informative and full of details for pros at all levels.

Here is a video clip from Rita Page's Facial Equip DVD: Available for Purchase at Pure Spa Direct.
