Super Softening Foot Treatment

People's feet take a daily beating, no matter what industry you work in. Whether due to those fabulous high heels worn for work, or the constant running around between work, school, kids, life, I doubt there are many who would turn down a foot rub or pampering pedicure if offered! Flip flops, barefoot walks, sand & surf...our feet go through even more stress during the summer months, and could use some extra love!

Here is an awesome recipe for a Lavender & Sage Softening Foot Treatment that will leave your client's skin baby soft!

Soak client's feet in your favorite pedicure bowl/pedicure spa
Follow by adding a few drops of Clarly Sage Essential Oil and Lavender Essential Oil / by Now to a bowl of Desert Mineral Detox Body Scrub by Extended Vacation. Slowly massage the scrub into the feet for a few minutes, then remove with warm towels (make sure you have enough fresh clean towels on hand!).You can also rinse them off in the pedicure bowl, or use a spray bottle with warm water and towels. Once clean and dry, massage the feet using Lavender /Orange/Clary Sage by Biotone and follow with your regular pedicure procedure.

Don't forget to have plenty of new polish choices, files, buffers and pedicure slippers on hand for all of your clients!

Planning for Pedicure Season? Try Bio Creative Pedisation 5 Piece Kit!

Pedicure season is finally approaching! It's time to start planning your pedi services. How about a kit with everything you need to perform a wonderful pedicure? The Bio Creative Pedisation 5 Piece Kit contains a Foot Soak, Scrub, Masque, Lotion, and even a Repair Creme. It has everything you'll need to perform a great pedicure that will have your clients coming back again and again! Each product is 7 oz. so this could also be something you can retail to your clients as well! They come neatly put together in a carry case.

Some key properties in this kit are Lavender, Tea Tree Oil, Shea Butter, and Arnica.

Here are some great tips:
Step 1: Foot Soak - Allow your feet to soak for 5-10 minutes. Soaking softens dry skin and cuticle for an easy removal. After soaking gently push back the cuticle and remove.

Step 2: Foot Scrub - The scrub may be used alone or can be directly applied to a file or pumice stone. Scrub in circular motion to effectively remove dry skin. Pay attention to dry or callused areas.

Step 3: Foot Masque - Place warm towel over the masque and allow to sit for 5 minutes. This will open the pores and allow the masque to fully penetrate.

Step 4: Foot Lotion - Massage the lotion into the entire foot and legs until fully absorbed for a stress relieving pedicure. Allow this time to interact with your customer and listen to their pedicure needs.

Step 5: Critical Repair Creme - Apply the Critical Repair Creme on heals and dry area of the foot to prevent dry skin from coming back. You may also apply onto your customer's knees and elbows to make them feel the Ultimate Spa treatment.

Customize Your Spa Menu with Cocoa Butter!

Cocoa Butter has been used for centuries by pregnant women to help prevent and reduce stretch marks. This is because it is incredibly moisturizing. When the skin is well hydrated, it maintains its elasticity, and stretching the skin is less likely to leave marks. Cocoa Butter also works wonders on minor skin irritations, such as eczema.

At room temperature, Spa Pantry's Cocoa Butter is a soft solid, but scooping just a bit into your hands and rubbing them together melts it immediately, and turns it almost into an oil. But not a greasy oil - just slick enough to effectively moisturize whatever body part is feeling dry at the moment!

Spa Pantry's Cocoa Butter is an excellent base and add-in for all of your customizable spa treatments. Add a few drops of your favorite essential oil (or the essential oil of your clients' choice!), and use for a hand massage after a manicure. For some simple treatments, follow the recipes below:

Chocolate Pedicure Scrub
Ingredients
1 1/2 tablespoons Cocoa Powder

Directions
Whip ingredients together in a rubber bowl. Place bowl in hot towel cabi to warm until ready to use. Scrub client's feet and legs using gentle circular motions to increase circulation, tone and tighten skin, and release toxins. Remove product using warm towels or rinse in pedicure tub.

Autumn Massage Butter
Ingredients

Directions
Whip ingredients together in a medium rubber bowl. Place bowl in hot towel cabi or large bowl filled with warm water, so your massage butter is warm when ready to use. Using your Autumn Massage Butter, complete clients' massage using your favorite massage techniques.
