Client Implement Boxes - Personalized Attention to Cleanliness

While out for a few drinks with friends recently, I was explaining the different aspects of what we do at Pure Spa Direct. We have such a unique perspective here regarding our clients' needs and the needs of the general spa-going public. Of the different factions in the beauty industry that we cater to, my friends were most eager to discuss the cleanliness of Nail Salons.

It was agreed by all the ladies present that they have serious reservations having their nails done at a location that reuses implements for customer after customer with minimal to no sterilization. Everyone said that they are much more likely to go to a salon that provides a box with their personal implements rather than go to one that just reuses the same buffers, files, cuticle sticks etc. over and over again.

To make your salon stand out, I recommend giving a gratis Personal Implement Box to each of your clients at their first appointment. The few dollars that are laid out to purchase the boxes and supplies will reap increased profits and customer loyalty. You can even retail additonal products for the Implement Boxes so that your client can choose which implements they would like to include in their kits.hoose which products they would like to be personalized.

Fall Head Over Heels for Foot Files

In speaking with clients and by going on weekend quests to find the best local spas, it has become very evident that the latest trends are going 'Back to Basics.' The general public has become extremely well-informed, and sometimes over-informed, regarding the amount of chemicals we use on a daily basis. When it comes to nail treatments, the new focus is on Natural Nail Treatments. Rather than using chemicals and enhancements, many people are choosing to have a manicure that focuses on using pure products. An increasing number of clients are also choosing to not even put polish on their nails, so as to fully embrace this trend.

Normally when I receive a pedicure, I am told how rough my feet and heels are, and how they desperately need to be treated with the Callus Remover gel. I always agree to the treatment but I have never been truly satisfied. No matter how long my heels soak in the gel, or how hard the tech scrubs my feet, there is always leftover scratchiness.

Recently, while receiving an all-natural pedicure, I asked the technician to use Callus Remover to fix my heels. She said that would not be necessary because all she would need was a foot file. After a couple of minutes work on each foot, my heels were transformed from rough and cracked to silky smooth. At the end of the pedicure, she picked out a file for me to use on my feet at home. I use it virtually every day and I have not had an issue with problematic heels ever since! I recommend using foot files on all of your clients - keep individual foot file available for sanitary reasons. Your clients will greatly appreciate the fact that you value their health and the cleanliness of your salon.

Foot files are a fantastic implement for any kind of pedicure - plus, you can retail them so that your clients can do some of the work at home. This means greater client satisfaction and, potentially less work for you on their feet!
