Need MSDS? No Problem!

Not only is Pure Spa Direct an industry leader in helping clients find the right products, equipment, and furniture, but we also help our clients on some of the more "back of house" needs. Very recently I had a client who purchased quite a few Amber Products, and her spa was opening in 2 days! She was very concerned about not having the right paperwork needed if the state inspector showed up. I assured her we would gather all of the MSDS forms for the products she ordered with us, in time for inspection day!


In less than 24 hours I was able to provide the client with the paperwork needed for her spa to open, and also peace of mind (we even helped her with MSDS sheets from products she did not order from us - as she could not get ahold of her other supplier!)

I recently had a client wondering if ultrasonic was right for her. I have been a licensed esthetician/cosmetologist for 11 years, and this is one of my favorite modes of exfoliation! I was so excited to explain the process from start to finish. We discussed how she could bring this service into her spa for under $300, and basically have this paid for in just the few first services! She was thrilled, and so was I. Its The Little Things ...

Sometimes we forget about the small, day-to-day items that get us through our everyday hustle. Recently, a client called in a panic looking for Starpil Wax Beads. She had recently run out, and her currently supplier was out of stock as well. She had multiple clients booked for the up-coming holiday weekend, and needed her wax ASAP! Luckily, here at Pure Spa Direct, we were able to ship the wax she needed for delivery the next day - just in time for her to service her prickly guests!

Being able to take a situation like this - and come through for her - reminds me everyday of how important excellent customer service is, and how we here at Pure Spa Direct make sure to take care of our clients individual needs. Weather it be a rush wax order, 4x4's, disposables, etc.. We are here to make sure your daily operations run smooth!

Extra Extra! What Extras Do YOU Use To Gain Your Clients' Loyalty?

It's no secret, especially in this industry that it is the little things that are important. So much so that your client retention can depend on those little things. Offering little extras to your clients can mean the difference between them coming back to you, or seeing what your competition is doing.

Everyone wants and likes to feel special, your clients are especially. You are in a unique position to make them feel beautiful inside and out. I've mentioned before that showing your clients you care about them as a person, can be the difference between a spa hopper and a life long relationship.

It could be something as little gifts like a sample from the amazing Control Corrective line! (pick items tied into the services they come in for or retail items!), client appreciation days/specials even something as complimentary Eco-Fin treatments! Pay attention to your conversations with clients, note important events or likes on their profile or service card. The key is to make sure you look over the profile card BEFORE they come in for the appointment. Bring up whatever it is during your conversation, they will be impressed you "remembered". If they have an event or something they are excited for coming up, offer a complimentary add on, retail item (even a few sample packs or mini nail polish if you don't want to offer full size gifts) or even a coupon off their next visit.

I know most salons/spas offer complimentary beverages, how is your presentation? I love seeing drink dispensers that are on the fancier or unique looking side. The Vitajuwel line is beautiful, unique and comes elegantly packaged making a great presentation if you decide to retail them!
