Client Cool Down

There is no way around it, sometimes the treatments we are performing may not be the most comfortable. Often times there is a slight downtime or the client is leaving with a red or irritated face. What are you offering to boost your business and increase client satisfaction?

What about a cooling mask? Use a mask with the cooling effect to calm down skin after laser treatments, microderm, chemical peels, waxing, and more!

Algae Peel-Off Mask - Cold Cryogenic Mask
This mask is both cooling and refreshing!
It stimulates cell vitality, promotes cell regeneration, tones, tightens, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, and has strong antioxidant properties!

Besides using as post-treatment, this mask is great for damaged skin, hyperpigmentation, and aging skin.

You may have started your session with hot steam to open the pores. Now that the treatment is over, what about cold steam to close the pores?

The benefits of cold steam, do not end at a cooling effect.
Spa Masters Cold Facial Steamer

Benefits include:
  • Helps close pores - reduces the appearance of pores and refines skin to be instantly softer and smoother.
  • Instant cooling, soothing refreshment after facial treatments and dermatological treatments
  • Restores skin to a natural and healthy pH
  • Nurtures dehydrated skin
  • Sets and revitalizes makeup
  • Maximizing moisture retention before applying moisturizer
  • Safe all skin types and all ages
  • Instant hydration for dry skin
  • Plumps the surface of the skin for a more youthful appearance

Or add Magic Globes for the ultimate cooling finish

Chill this set and end with a globe massage. It has an endless amount of benefits, and immediately serves its purpose! They stimulate blood circulation and oxygenate skin.
Besides closing the pores, they tighten, relieve puffy eyes, treat sinus pain, headaches, and migraines!

Clean your Magic globes easily with alcohol and store them in the freezer, ice box, ice bowl or cool water.

Add Cooling Ice Pedicures to Your Menu and Cool Off Your Clients!

If you ask me, 100 degrees
is HOT HOT HOT!
I don't know where you are reading this blog from, but here in NY, summer has hit us HARD! With temperatures soaring to over 100 degrees, everything here is sticky and hot. Personally, I hate socks with a passion, so sandals and flip flops are my go-to footwear for the summer (ok, more like any time it is not snowing out, but that is a whole other blog...). With these temperatures, though, my toes, soles, and heels are burning, hot, and achy in my flip flops. All I want to do is to crawl into a refrigerated room and take a nap....

Since that is (unfortunately) not an option, I think a better idea is a Cooling ICE Pedicure! Pure Spa Direct offers this amazing Ikonna Pedicure Ice Cooling Gel with Peppermint in MEGA 5 Gallon Buckets! Incorporating this gel into your summer pedicures will be sure to wake your clients up, refresh their tired and aching feet, and give their senses quite a lift....even when they are feeling wilted in 100+ degree weather! This gel scrub (which, by the way, is only about $0.07 / treatment - WOW!) hydrates, relaxes, and soothes, all while acting as an astringent and softening tough skin!

Pair the Ice Cooling Gel with La Palm's Ice Mineral Masque, and you have a summer WINNER on your hands! To continue your "Cool" Pedicure, substitute Cold Eucalyptus towels for your regular steamed towels. Finish the pedicure with an invigorating massage with Aromaland's Bay Laurel & Mint Foot & Leg Massage lotionand you may just have to peel your clients out of your chair! For an even sweeter treat, offer "Happy Hour" pedicures....served with a cool cucumber mint iced spa water, or even a Mojito!

The MUST-HAVE Massage Tool: Selenite Massage Wand

There is nothing that can destroy my day faster than waking up with a migraine, and yesterday was no different. My head hurt, my neck was sore, I was having a hard time even keeping my head above my shoulders. Ugh, not a happy morning. So when my coworker pulled out a pretty looking white wand and told me to turn around so she could try to work out the knot in my neck, I definitely did not argue.

That pretty white wand was a MIRACLE! The Selenite Massage Wand not only worked out my knots (with little effort, too!), but completely relaxed me in a matter of seconds. Selenite is known for its calming, relaxing and healing vibrational properties, making it the perfect tool for use in massage. Your clients will appreciate the deep tissue penetration and the cooling sensation on the skin. Also perfect for rolling massage techniques, and can be used for heat therapy - this little tool can do it all. You will appreciate the low cost and high client satisfaction!

We have various Selenite Massage Tools available, including wands, stress balls, and spheres. Check them out today!
