I Can See Clearly Now...That My Eyes Aren't Puffy!

For those who suffer from allergies, itchy puffy eyes can be a real problem. For clients who have sensitive eyes, suffer headaches or are just plain stressed out, tired and puffy eyes can be just as annoying.

One of the newest additions to the Pure Spa line up is bulk packs of  Gel Eye Patches that are wonderful when refrigerated! These little gems can also be warmed up in some warm water if your client prefers! These make great gifts, add-ons, retail items and giveaway/promo items! Two different styles to choose from, take a look at them both here!

Looking for something a little different, we saw that coming (couldn't resist) and also have these cute gel eye masks for you as well!

Scent or No Scent, That Is The Question

Many clients will ask what the most popular scents are at various times during the year. While it is incredibly important to have the right scent(s) to boost business and create a mood, it's also important to remember the power of unscented.

There is a good chunk of people who either are allergic or sensitive to scents, or flat out don't enjoy them for one reason or another. Do you have unscented options for your treatments? Do you have a "scent free" area for clients with severe sensitivities or who may be experiencing migraine symptoms?

Why not ask clients or send out an email poll about it? Get their thoughts on having a scent free section or if there are ever times they would prefer to have an option of scented or unscented. The worst that will happen is they have zero opinion. For those clients who DO have a preference, it will make a huge impression on them by asking....and accommodating their responses.

From massages to nail services, sometimes a simple option can make all the difference!

Aromatherapy for Fall

Do you have clients who come in congested or with head colds now that the chillier weather is approaching? If so, it may be beneficial to switch up your essential oils you offer your clients during the Fall months, so you can better serve those who suffer from seasonal allergies.

A recent article I read highlighted certain scents that can help clear your clients sinuses and also relax their muscles if they are feeling under the weather. It's great to have a custom essential oil blend ready for each individual client if you haven't already considered! Check out some ideas below:
Frankincense
This essential oil is great for warming up the body, especially with the colder months ahead. It’s also known for its comforting properties and can help to promote healthy cell regeneration.

Eucalyptus
Eucalyptus oil can help to relive muscles aches and pains, and can also help to boost the immune system - perfect for your clients who are suffering from a cold!

Lavender
Definitely our most popular selling essential oil! This can help to relax your clients and soothe their muscle aches and pains while boosting their immune system as well!

I highly recommend blend the above oils for a customized Aromatherapy for Fall that you can present to your clients during the upcoming months! Be sure to check out our site - we have quite an extensive list of essential oils to choose from!

Here are some awesome relaxing and clearing essential oils to incorporate into the treatment:

Allergy Prone Skin or Spring Allergies? Keeping Your Clients Clear

Spring has officially arrived (even if the weather is a bit crazy with these recent storms!) which also means the arrival of allergies. Seasonal allergies manifest not only in the typical sneezing fits, watering eyes and scratchy throats but also on the skin. People who are sensitive to allergies can also see extra dryness, redness, rashes and overall itchiness.

Skin Allergies can be uncomfortable and for some, embarrassing. Having an allergy facial or allergy relief add ons in your service menu can be a great comfort for your clients.

Some great skin relief items to consider include:

Allergy Ampoule by Rosa Graf - this powerful bottle can be used in 15-20 treatments (profit potential is nothing to sneeze at!)

Rosewater- great for soothing and hydrating the skin. Great retail item as well for self care!

Dr. Temt Azulene Gelform Mask- instant soothing relief, you can't get much better than instant unless you can prevent it!

Seaweed and Spirulina Peel Off Alginate Facial Mask- gets rid of puffiness, calms the skin, reduces redness...this mask does it all and is incredibly easy to work with. Many of our clients consider this their go to mask (also great to retail as a package with a mixing bowl and brush)

Redness Diffusing by June Jacobs- masks and serums with the sole purpose of reducing redness

Calming by Ayer-Medic- cleanser, cream and mask for a great 3 step process to ease skin allergy irritations

Even when they aren't experiencing allergies, your clients will remember you offer these treatments and come running to you whenever they act up!

Easing Your Clients' Allergies and Increasing Profit!!!

Depending on where you live, you may have noticed more and more people sneezing and rubbing their eyes. The dreaded allergy season is upon many of us here and it's driving everyone nuts!

A great way to increase revenue is by simply offering an allergy season add-on to your current treatment menu.

Essential oils are an extremely cost effective way to provide additional benefits to your clients especially those suffering from allergies.

The following essential oils are great for providing much needed relief from itchy watery eyes, sneezing and congestion:

ESS Globulus Eucalyptus Pure Essential Oil
Eucalyptus is a great multipurpose oil that has been shown to have anti inflammatory properties. It works wonders on congestion, headaches and aids in breathing.

ESS Peppermint Pure Essential Oil
Peppermint is also great for opening up the sinuses and easing headaches.

ESS® Pure Essential Lemon Oil
Lemon is particularly good for beating those winter blues and helping clear out allergy issues. It also has antibacterial properties!

ESS® Cypress Pure Essential Oil
This lesser known oil is amazing for chest ailments to help ease breathing and suppress coughing fits.

If you are looking for one big allergy blend to either market within an existing facial or to make a great allergy massage oil, mix lavender, lemon and peppermint! It creates an amazing aroma that may produce instant relief for allergy symptoms!

The possibilities to incorporate and market an allergy relief special can be as unique as you and your business are! Once your clients feel the added benefit of these oils you can also retail the oils!
