Your Gel Polish services can now be even more profitable!

Universal Top Coat - high-gloss shine,
durable formula, for a fraction of the cost!
Star Nail's Eco-Systems Universal Top Coat just made your Gel Polish services even more profitable!

The entire nail industry knows how big Gel Polish Services are right now. I am sure most, if not all, nail technicians have already identified that while these services are the most popular services around, they are also more expensive to perform. A bottle of Gel Polish color is roughly 4x more expensive than traditional nail polish, and the base and top coats are just as, if not more, expensive.

Not any longer! Star Nail's Eco-Systems recently released a UNIVERSAL Top Coat - touted for use with ALL Brands of soak-off UV gels and hybrid polishes, this UV or LED-light cured top coat runs about the same price as a traditional top coat! Available in 2 sizes: 0.5 oz and larger, professional 2.5 oz size.

According to www.starnail.com:

  • Extreme high gloss finish
  • Quick and easy application. Apply just like a polish and cure!
  • Works with any LED or UV light
  • Soaks off in minutes!
  • Durable, long-lasting formula
  • Get 5x MORE PRODUCT from ergonomic patented tilt bottle (compared to other 1/2 oz. brush-on formulas)
What are you waiting for? Scoop up your bottle today, and see the difference in your bottom line it makes!

Day 17 of Gelish Manicure - Shine & Color Still Going Strong

Hello all! I just wanted to give some personal feedback on my Gelish experience since we picked up this amazing nail line.

My Gelish manicure was done 17 days ago....and all 10 nails are still holding on strong! As you can see from my photo, the color has not faded, scratched or chipped. The color intensity and shine is still rich and glossy. Though this polish could go the 21 day distance, my nails are growing strong and fast with this product on! I do have some slight wear at the edges, BUT that is because some of my nails were extremely short at the time of the Gelish application. I've learned that capping the edges properly can be challenging when the clients' nails are extremely short. The nails that I am showing wear on were definitely not capped at the edges because they were only nubs at the time of application. The official Gelish trainer repeatedly stated that there were 2 points critical for Nail Pros to follow to ensure lasting Gelish manicures:
    1. Apply Base Coat as thin as possible. It should not be "slick or shiny" looking - it should look "orange peel shiny -- with texture". Overuse of base coat is the most common problem with applying Gelish. If you have slick shine BEFORE you cure, you have used too much foundation.

    2. CAP THE FREE EDGE WITH EVERY LAYER! Our recommendation is to cap the free edge first, then apply product to the nail bed. If you cap the free edge first, when you pull the color down the nail plate, you remove the bulb at the free edge. If you cap at the end, you risk leaving a bulb at the free edge.

Other than some grow-out (hey, I can't control how fast my nails grow, they thrive with Gelish!) my polish still looks great. At 17 DAYS! Under normal circumstances, I can't keep my polish looking this good for 7 days! It is still in tact, with a shine that looks like it was just applied. Definitely A++++, Gelish!
