Aahhhh Spa-Cation!

It's no secret people are being a bit more frugal with their money than in the past. The term "stay-cation" is used much more frequently than ever before. This shift in how people spend their vacation money and time is a good opportunity for local spas to bring in new clients.

I recently read an article that featured a prominent spa in New York City that has been cashing in on spa-cations which have been very popular with locals.

The beauty of a package like this is that you can create it any way you see best. You can have build your own package from different options or you can have pre-set options or even multiple levels to them.

For example, you could put together something like this:

*60 minute massage or facial
*15 minute addition of the client's choice of add-ons (scalp massage, more massage time, paraffin etc)
*special lunch (if you have the capability or a place you can work with to provide food)
*gift certificate for future use

Depending on the services you offer, you can create magical packages to entice and wow clients looking to stay local yet indulge more than their usual.
